We got Horston (WOW) another top guard ! That’s THREE top ten guards for the last three years!!! And Evina and Horston rated #2 PLAYER overall 2017 & 2019.... Plus Zaay and Jaz. Just amazing.

Can we continue to recruit like this ? Our team going into 2020-21 is at ten on scholarship. Unless we get a JUCO to come in 2019 ? What about another top ten guard? Just ask Zaay if her friend (Sarah Rogers ) from Texas wants to come on down ! Sydney Parrish a top ten guard from In. (Already 3 unofficial visits). Treasure Hunt from HH another top ten guard has been on our radar for several years! We could use another big. On the list are Kamilla Cardosa , Hannah Gusters, Gabby Hutcherson , ( all top recruits)
Want a wing? How about Angel Reese ?

She had a pic posted with her brother on her recruiting trip and they were in USC gear. I wonder if that is what started it? She also had some UT pix up with her dad.

Yeah, I din't find any more confirmations.

I think we are good with 3. Horston 6-2', Keys 6-5', Saunders 6-4.
Noot bad after two back to back top 5 classes.
Jordan will still prolly make this a top 10 class.
Onto next year...

MTSU any updates??? A player who jumped into the fray late?

Why not 100% ? I havent seen a release either , not saying your wrong but i havent seen that your right neither. Holding out hope but she probably is SC bound .

Will Tennessee pursue Natasha Mack, or is she a contingency plan if Brown isn't granted an additional year by the NCAA?

No, I will use small words. Her mom and Dad, and her want more than a BS degree.They want her to have a free ride to at least a masters. Kinda hoping your kids don't rent the trailer next door, but get a shift leaders job after a GED and a nice used double wide...but with bigger dreams than your's. Ever notice very few leave early? Probably not because dreams, past working drive thru are beyond you. Seems she( Davis or parents) as much said so yrs ago. I don't need to know her parents. I know parents who understand education and want the sky for their kids. Same such obvious dreams don't make since to you. Now your snotty comment of calling me a creep...it was you ( creep...I know you are but what am I) who claims to be hearing things...you don't know anyone who knows anyone near her family, I bet you have never even been in TBA and, I am sure you spell Pat's last name incorrectly.

I didn't see any of those players choosing UT so not really disappointed. We lose Jackson and Green hopefully regain Lou Brown from injury. We don't know what Rennia Davis will do she doesn't have to come back as a junior if she graduates and with her big head start I see graduation is definitely gonna happen. Her leaving however is up in the air she may want to stay another season even two that is an unknown.
With all this a possibility we may or may not choose to go the juco route for another player where likely the biggest need would be a combo guard. Brown is a similar player to Green and Davis and Jackson are perimeter although Davis can play both.

Even if the Davis family places a high value on education, Rennia could decide to go elsewhere as a grad transfer if another school has a master's program more in line with her career goals. It would be hard to turn down a free ride to the Duke MBA program, for example. Hopefully, she'll decide to stay for another year or two at Tenn, but you never know.

I hope there are no transfers I really like this core group. Are we expecting any transfers ( I know they are always a possibility)? I really hope E and Rennia stick out there four years here along with this freshman class!

Transfers are a part of the game now, and coaches know this. They have to take every possible scenario into account when offering scholarships.

Are we expecting any? No. Could that change? Yes.

Holly likes a roster of 12. That size will give plenty of playing time to those that earn it, and is manageable. Classes of 3/4 every year can keep the roster size in the 12/13 range. I personally think that scholarship limits should be dropped from 15 to 13. Give those other two scholarships to teams that can use them i.e. softball, soccer, track, rowing.

As a former college track athlete I approve this message ✅

Also, the WVU coach said something about having 18 scholarship players on roster because of how injuries have ravaged his team. Is that even possible ?

WBB: Brea Beal, 6-0 W, Rock Island HS (IL)—ranked #13 in the 2019 class by espnW—has announced her commitment to South Carolina. Second 2019 commit for the Gamecocks, joining Zia Cooke, 5-9 PG, Toledo Rogers HS (OH), ranked #7.

Yes, and they are also in the running for 4 more, but if they can get 1 of those remaining, will be a nice class for them.
