My comment was a bit tongue in cheek, but I did consider the local alumni club as Stanford grads might be more affluent and support one of their own.

Is there another university that reduced the seating capacity at their stadium more then Stanford? 89,000 down to 50,424 and draw a whopping 43,263 fans on average to home games. The SEC game day experience has to be a big draw for recruits
