I don't know what's going to be more fun to watch:

The melt down in the Alabama fan base if Saban leaves for Texas or

The melt down in the Texas fan base if he snubs them and turns them down.

Both will be quite epic and entertaining.

Mack Brown has agreed to retire. It's done. He's not fighting. He's not trying to muck things up for Saban. He's done as a head coach Texas and will be compensated handsomely. As we've reported for the last two days, he will announce his retirement this weekend. It goes down Saturday, most likely.

As for Nick Saban, it's not a done deal but it looks great. Red McCombs is money whipping St. Nick.
