Fair enough, but you at least acknowledge that you have some knowledge of his existence. Not caring or not paying attention to him is different than claiming you don't know who he is. I'm suspicious of @Orangeburst 's claim that he has never heard of Madison Cawthorn.

Someone brought up Al Franken the other day. He was abandoned by the left because of an off color photo.

Cawthorn tried to sneak a gun through TSA on Tuesday and that's not even what is making the news about his behavior.

Please stop pretending the knife only cuts one way, there's a story for both sides - they're equally terrible. Watching you keep trying to portray the right as the victims is tiresome.

Fair enough. Guess I should catch up as I have never seen him in the spotlight until now. Certainly not like AOC or Talib. I maybe watch 20 minutes of Fox and even CNN a week. Didnt even realize there was such a young man in the House.

I live in Madison's district, let me bring everyone up to speed as much as I can:

He campaigned on how he was injured in a wreck and the co-passenger abandoned him (lie, he pulled him from wreck).

He said he was pronounced dead at the scene (lie according to medical records)

He said the accident prevented him from fulfilling his dream of joining the Naval Academy (lie, he was rejected pre-accident)

Females from his old college said they were warned not to be around him in one on one situations and there were reports of him harassing students. It's a bit unclear, but it's believed he flunked out of college after one semester. He has attributed is low grades to a brain injury sustained in his accident.

He said he and friends went on a vacation to Russia and in a casino in St Petersburg (gambling was banned there in 2009) he met a retired American Army Captain that later introduced him to his wife, an Instagram fitness influencer. They divorced 8 months later.

He's been caught twice driving on a suspended license.

He's been caught twice bringing a loaded gun into an airport.

He claimed he's been invited to Republican orgies by notable figures in D.C. and has watched them do cocaine in their offices.

He called the Ukrainian President a thug as the war started.

He briefly flirted with switching districts.

He may be involved in a financial fraud case with the "Let's Go Brandon" cryptocurrency. It appeared to be a "pump and dump"" coin that went to zero. Cawthorn apparently did not disclose his ownership of the currency and may come under investigation.

Photos wearing bras leaked

Video of his staffer groping him leaked. Apparently he has sent this young man thousands of dollars via Venmo.

I'm sure I've left some stuff out, he's hard to keep pace with. There were some lies about the Paralympics along the way somewhere.

There are 7 Republicans challenging him in the primary and he has a 19 point lead over closest challenger.

I’ve only recently heard of him and posted something wrt to his behavior as “should fit in perfectly with most in DC”. Pretty confident his political career will be short lived though. The immaturity is showing and my bet is voters in his district will tire of his personal s*** show quickly.

With 435 difficult to know them all. See new ones on TV all the time for first time. Usually the ones you dont know are alight as they dont gather attention with their extremism and behavior. This guy is an exception for me.
