per Doug Matthews- rehab has not been 100% successful...I was wondering why we hadn't heard much from him in fall camp

This has been floating around for a couple of days now. It sucks. However, Maggitt is not as irreplaceable as some of you seem to believe.

It really doesn't matter if we redshirt him or not, he is gone after this year every way.

Just hasn't been long enough. He was hurt late in the year. I think it's going normal for that type surgery but I sure wouldn't rush him back at all. I wouldn't play him until the knee was ready for him to be effective. Just being on the field for the sake of being there isn't good enough or fair to Maggitt. If it means a redshirt so be it. Just have to wait and see.

This makes NO sense to me at all! So he may not be ready until we start getting into SEC play. You burn an entire season for that?? I just don't understand the whole "rehab has not been 100% successful" comment. What does that even mean? That he's not putting in the work? That he's mentally screwed up since the injury? What does that mean?

of course I also read on Twitter that he shed the green jersey last night and was "throwing dudes around"
