edit: this is a rumor, which I'm now thinking is BS. 11/30/11 11:45 am CT

from 11/29/11 10:09 am CT
I'm reading that Bruce Wayne will die at the end of TDKR. Nolan is doing this so no one will pick up his franchise and he won't be pressured in the future to make a 4. Good move IMO. I will link when I get to my comp.

I'm thinking (but not sure) that this was a BS IMDBpro rumor. I can't find anything on the www credible to do with it. See original edit.

MTV news has a story about how people are speculating they'll kill Batman. Don't see it happening. Nolan knows what he's doing, he wants people talking.

Plus, I figured if anyone played Robin it would be Gordon's son.

i dont know if he will die or not but the poster of Bane walking away with Batman's mask laying on the ground looks like somthing big will happen

The movie poster does say "The Legend Ends". Other than "Legend" meaning Batman, whatelse could it be?

if he kills Batman he has not only changed the Batman lore he has absolutely killed it and re-written the entire DC timeline.

Batman beyond etc.

Plus the rumor is he breaks Gordon's back which is why Gordon is in the bed and barely able to speak.

Bane breaks Batman's back in the beginning. Batman rehabilites, goes off into hibernation for a long time, comes back to Gotham. Bane is wreaking havoc on Gotham. Gordon is on his death bed, asks Batman to take his son under his wing. That prompts him to bring the Batman back and train his son. Enter Robin. Book it.

Whatever happened to the Batman vs Superman idea?

Uh.....?

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with the Nolan trilogy. It would ruin the whole trilogy if he did something dumb like that.

I watched this trailer last weekend at the movies. The audience was visibly taken aback in stunned silence. Until the loudest applause for a trailer I have ever heard broke out.

I wasn't implying that! Just asking! The idea was floated around a few years ago to bring the comic book fued to the big screen but the idea seemed to die. I was just wondering if anyone had heard for sure if it was indeed dead. Jesus, go change your tights!

The confusion maybe has something to do with the fact that Nolan agreed to oversee the next Superman project.
