Aigh, just watched the trailer with an actual monitor instead of my phone. Several observations, the tumblers and batpod are under the control of Bane and his cohorts.

The cohorts are seen repelling into the batcave which I can only assume spells disaster....

Catwoman is wearing Wayne's mother necklace from the first movie

Wayne is visible with his broken back in the trailer and Bane is taking about wayne passing when Gotham burns

I kinda wish Bane was more muscular. I just don't like how he's just some normal dude with a big jacket on and that mask. Guess that's the realism Nolan aims at creating in the Batman films, I liked how he made the Joker though.

I wonder if they are related or maybe he's in a relationship with her? Could be possible if it's set 8 years after Dark Knight.

Time spot of Wayne's broken back is at 1:30, also, after rewatching it, I do not believe Bane's Cohorts are dropping into the batcave.

I'm a huge Batman fan, so maybe my opinion is swayed, but I really think this will be the best movie of 2012. Much like Batman Begins was the best movie of 2005.

Batman Begins>>>>>>>TDK.

I've always said Batman Begins > TDK, but TDK is too great a movie for me to justify that many >s.

Ledger's portrayal of the joker made the second movie. And I think if there wasn't all the controversy of Ledger's death around the time of release, the second movie wouldn't have been as hyped.

It was still an outstanding movie, though.

If Batman does die then Nolan has completely re-written the Batman lore.

The realistic approch to this movie is that Gordon gets his back broken (which explains why he is in the hospital breathing the way he does) and that the scene at 93 seconds where batman is on the ground is a scene were he is beaten up badly but not broken.

The fact the Lazurus pit is in this movie also points to either Batman getting seriously injured and maybe even his back being broken but not dying as the Lazurus pit is used to heal people.

How Nolan would use this in a logical modern day world is curious but the facts do not lead to Batman dying.

From some of the things I've read (which may or may not be accurate)...

1)The pits were used for Bane.

2)Wayne does get seriously hurt (e.g. the new poster) but not sure if his back is broken.

3)Bane and Batman both supposedly die in the last fight, but Batman is seen standing in an "iconic" pose at the end of the movie, and continues to fight crime.

Again, don't take these as gospel, just some of the things floating out there.

Batman dies, no doubt

Wayne on the other hand.......wouldnt surprise me if Gordon forces Waynes handby sacrificing himself

By saying Batman dies do you mean Wayne just stops being Batman? Sorry for my ignorance.

Saw the trailer. It was intriguing, but I don't think it looked as good as the Dark Knight trailer did.
