i wish nolan would keep it for at least two more films after this one.

I wish Nolan would just make more movies, period. I guess quality might suffer if he wasn't so meticulous.

I wish he'd just tackle all the comics I like. Inception and Prestige are overrated, IMO. Memento is sick, though.

I liked Prestige and Inception a lot.

I didn't even know he did The Prestige.

The Prestige was an amazing bit of film-making. It kept me thrilled the whole time. My major issue is with the writing, and I don't know if the book is to blame, or Nolan's adaptation, but:

***Spoiler Alert***

I thought the whole thing with Tesla was ridiculous. Bale's character tried to throw Jackman off the scent by telling him Tesla is the secret to the "Transported Man". In a gazillion-to-one coincidence Tesla actually has a cloning device that will help Jackman replicate the illusion. So stupid.

prestige is in no way overrated. i could've cared less about inception though.

I found Inception to be pretty terrible personally. One of the most overrated movies in the past 5 years IMO.

Dude.... It's a movie. Maybe Bale's illusion was inspired by Tesla's research, but he knew how far away Tesla was from perfecting it and thought he would be leading Jackman down a dead-end.

If that's the only plot hole that kept you from enjoying that great movie, then I'm sorry. No wonder you didn't like Inception. That was a crazy bit of fiction.

What? The transported man was the result of a lifetime of work. Did you miss that part about how the twins had spent their lives living the illusion?

It went from a realistic movie for 2 hours to a weird sci-fi twist that was the epitome of deus ex machina.

FWIW, I am a movie snob, so most would take everything I say with a grain of salt. You either go full retard or you don't go retard. If the movie is going to be sci-fi unrealistic, set the tone at the beginning of the movie. Don't suddenly go sci-fi with 13% of the movie remaining.

I like plot twists that completely change the direction of a movie...

But I prefer if they do it with at least 15% or 16% of the movie remaining. I don't like this 13% nonsense, so I'll agree with you there.
