I'm shocked by a lot of these scores. The regionals seemed to be more competitive than the Supers.

A lot of these game have been over quickly.

yeah I've been pretty let down by today's games..LSU and ULL is fairly close

Just for the record, MO State is 4-1 against the SEC this year. With Missouri Valley talent, as they say.

If you're going to play "what if they played SEC ball" then you have to do with "what if HC Keith Guttin got SEC talent year in and year out".

As others have said, scouts aren't looking at stats. Point in case, Harris has been hit hard his last two times out since coming back from a blister. I bet he is still a 1st round pick on Monday. Right where he has been all year.

:hi:

from my observations tonight if Illinois played in the SEC..they would have been 8-46 instead of 46-8 :)

At the SEC tournament, I learned to hate Vandy's baseball team. They are really, really good. But man, they are a bunch of pricks.

is he their number one guy?

Not sure. I'm guessing he is since everyone is rested and that's who they chose.

Maineri *****ing about the rain right after Lafayette threatens is bush league. They probably should delay it, but it was raining before the hit that created this threat. He should've pulled Lange instead of leaving him in then blaming the rain.

he is a distant 3rd in starts..might be the hot arm though

Welcome to our world. Some of them were calling us "one-dayer's" at Hoover and said it was time for us to go home. I found it comical since they manage to bring like 14 fans to every sporting event regardless of how good they are.

I can't speak about the fans, I'm talking about their players.

They can back it up, but they are cocky as hell and run their mouths.

This Vandy pitcher can't throw a two strike pitch without walking off the mound in a manner to suggest a strikeout. He's done it three times tonight and the umpire did not give him the call.

Oh yeah Fulmer runs his mouth like crazy. He came in to close last year vs us in Hoover and turned to our dugout to talk trash. He does it after just about every inning ending K. Thought some of the fans were gonna come out of the stands last year and beat his ass. He's a Lakeland kid that I'm not sure how got away.

Ok, Illinois is by far the biggest joke of a national seed. The play by play announcer said it best, "this isn't Penn State out there you're playing".

Bold move by illinois today. Starting their all world closer to extent their season. He a projected top 15 overall pick in the draft!

I like it. Want to see some Monday baseball!!

Strong words here comparing Jay/fulmer

@WernerESPNCU: He's a consensus top-8 pick. Teams think he can start. More sold on him as starter than Fulmer. https://t.co/MHqHm1C3Y5
