No disrespect to these dogs. My dog of choice by far is the Catahoula. Patterns vary wildly, but breeders are very regimented not to dilute the three bloodlines. Best combination dog in existence. Hunting, herding, loving, search/rescue/etc. Mine was chocolate and tan with black spots and saddle, one blue eye and one green/yellow eye. Both cracked marble.

He was. I have him trained well and take him for some good exercise at least once daily. Best breed I’ve ever owned.

Ours is 5 months old. Knows basic commands so far. He’s in training.
