I’ve read that some people would be upset if they hired a male coach. I’m interested to see if this is true. We posters on this forum are an opinionated bunch. So would you have a problem having a male coach? Sound off.

Hiring my neighbor's cat would be better than keeping warlick.

having a male basketball coach hasn't seemed to be a problem for Connecticut has it ?
what a totally stupid thing to make an issue about.

Not saying I agree with it. I’ve just seen it mentioned in several places.

I have honestly thought this for years - NOT because a woman cannot be a brilliant coach (and we have many examples starting with of course, Pat) but because any woman at Tennessee is always going to be compared to Pat. A male might have a slight advantage with the comparison game.

Plus it gives us an easy reason to complain!
But don’t chose one just as eye candy!

I just want to see a competitive team on the floor, high energy, fun, player development and growth. I want to see someone on the sidelines who exude motivation for the players. I don't care what their gender is nor whether they once played for Tenn.

The people that would be upset is mostly the old women of facebook groups. Most of them still want Holly amazing how some can keep taking the same beating and still believe.

What will happen to the 72 women sitting in chairs on the sideline each game? I don't know what they do, but it requires a lot of them.

Just read on Rocky Top Talk that sources at Louisville are prepared to lose Walz to Tennessee at the end of the season. Reported by Gene Henley at the Chattanooga News Free Press. Don't shoot me, I'm only relaying what I read on RTT.
