RS freshman DE Malik Brown plans to transfer to another school, per Butch Jones. Brown has battled injuries throughout his UT career.

Best of luck to the kid. Hopefully he gets over his injuries whatever they may be and succeed at another school (not in the SEC). Frees up another spot in this class

He was never injured. We just told everyone he was to not hurt his feelings, at least that's what I learned from this board today.

Good heavens what's the 2013 Dooley class down to now (obviously I meant those commited to Dooley or seriously recruited by him even if their comitment fell to Jones later)?
It sounds like even more crazy attrition for his classes (Carr, Brown, and now Riley spring to mind but I'm sure there are more). But back to Brown...

Regardless and as always I wish Malik Brown nothing but the best in his future endeavors whether they're on the gridiron or in other fields.

'Vaya con Dios'
young Mr. Brown and do so with a mission even if that mission is just to do your best with your natural gifts. The world is still filled with opportunity for a young ambitious man just keep your eyes open and don't be afraid to fail at something. Thank you for your time here - you'll be remembered for the blood, sweat, and tears you poured not just into the program but also into our beloved university community.

I don't know for sure but it's probably similar to what the 2010 class was for Dooley.

Be careful with that kind of talk around here.

I do find it funny how the good ones are on CBJ, and the bad ones on Dooley. Classic 'Legion of the Miserable'.

This kid wasn't recruited by Dooley. He was one of the kids we took in the month Butch had to throw together a class. Obviosuly we didn't get much out of him, but he was a body at a position of need.

Now that the reinforcements have arrived, a transfer is probably the best option for this kid.
