Shady recruiting tactics and questionable academic practices are unfortunately common place. Harper and Tyndall just suck at getting caught.

If this is sexually related, I think it'll surprise the whole fanbase. NCAA sanctions are the worry at this point which points towards academics. NCAA will hammer WKU for UNC's transgressions.

I don't know what happened but when the natives are restless and a fairly significant discipline issue happens with players it often times doesn't matter if he himself wasn't involved.

Time will tell if he was directly involved

Where did he say that? Those connected to the program in BG aren't talking. I'm highly skeptical anyone has spilled the beans to Goodman this quickly, regardless of his "clout". But if he willingly played academically ineligible players and possible sanctions are at stake then he had no choice.

Natives weren't restless, which is the problem. So many had pledged their allegiance to Harper over the program because he was a local boy and this was his dream job.

He said it on Twitter, someone told him he resigned and he replied and said "he was forced to resign".

I see it now. And I wrongly combined your post and Bruins in my mind. Thought Goodman was confirming the sexual claim. I have little doubt he was forced to resign, few resignations are voluntary.

"Insider" is saying its academic related and no one was arrested as some are rumoring. Then WKU beat writer for the BG Daily News says it's not academic or NCAA related. More is coming out but still no closer to knowing what happened.

The NCAA is just "somehow" magically good at only catching the smaller fish. Look at UNC. Pathetic.

@MrChadBishop: I have been able to confirm the suspension of the three WKU players was not academic, nor was it NCAA related


Point shaving is the latest rumor but not sure why that would go to the student board. The sexual incident is more believable IMO

Where is the sexual incident coming from? Literally no one on the WKU board I'm on or those covering the program have mentioned it. No way that goes unmentioned even in the short amount of time that's elapsed. We heard about our incidences within hours of them allegedly occurring.

If it was point shaving then surely that would have some kind of NCAA ramifications. I would think they (suspended players) would/could be disqualified from NCAA competition going forward.

That's what pissed me off about Bruce... NCAA ruined our best six year run over a barbecue and a lie..... While allowing NC, Louisville, frank Hairh And on and on get away with much worse transgressions.... If it was a set level playing field with strict rules and penalties then I would have understood...right now I don't care if our coach cheats as long as he doesn't get caught
