"A majority of fans" didn't know that DeBord was the clear choice for OC last year, so when Shoop was the first name out the chute, there was no correlation. So we were going to end up with Hoke. :loco:

Could be true but on Georgia's big run they didn't look very tired. I'm not busting on Coach Barnes...I like him and his coaching. Just wished we could take our Vol's hearts, speed, and tenacity and put them in bigger bodies...:)

Not true, when McCarthy was there the fan base was all in. Especially when he would beat Coach Rupp from time to time and win an SEC championship.

They havnt cared about hoops in the players they have today's lifetime and that's a fact

I don't think you understand what a fact is.

They've made the NCAAT 6 times in their current players' lifetimes, winning the SECT once. If you think they didn't care at all during that time, you're completely FOS.

Let me tell you about facts and your false evidence you brought forth here.

Miss state the team you said hasn't seen a boost in attendance. Remember the climate where you said everyone was seeing their attendance fall. The post where you presented as fact/evidence.

Well miss state saw a 6% GAIN in attendance in their early season Schedule.


Perhaps before you start spouting out post about facts you need to get a better understanding about what the word means

Here's so more facts for your evidence that was completely false.


Bama has enjoyed a huge bump in attendance with their new coach.

This time last year they averaged 9416 a game.

This year at present they average 12,366

A huge gain of 31%.

In fact every home game they have played is above their average from a year ago


Man I have no idea why on earth you think you can tell anyone about the meaning of the words facts or evidence.

Barnes had a timeout or two that he could have used. Maybe he didn't think Georgia would continue raining threes, and that the Vols style this year is predicated on keeping chaos moving at all times. Or maybe he thought he saw Georgia getting tired, and the Vols would rally if they kept pressing. Or maybe he made a mistake and should have called a timeout.

But condemning the guy three games into the conference schedule? Coaching "malpractice"?

They cared enough to have one of the worst facilities and attendance in the SEC in that 20 years.

That's the only way i know how to judge a how much a fanbase cares about hoops
