Malpractice use of TOs

Why the hell didn't TN hire BruinVol to run this team? Hell, he is obviously a top tier coach, always patting himself on the back like all great coaches do. Sometimes the narcissism on this board is unbelievable.

Georgia had a otherwordly run shooting the 3 ball last night and I don't think that will happen again in a game this season.

I would like to see Hubbs be more aggressive on the offensive end of the floor with mid range shots as well as taking the ball to the hoop.

4 TOs were called tonight to stop/slow runs.

3 by Bama and 1 by Barnes.

In 3 of the 4 the runs were reversed after those TOs.

And if one more poster suggest that saving TOs is important for Barnes I am going to vomit. He calls a TO to presumably set up a play when the game is tied with 1min to go. And the results were more proof this guy is a bad in game coachs

The reversals occurred because Punter picked up his second and them his third fouls and was pulled out of the game. Magical TOs caused him to foul I guess.

Lol

3 of 4 worked.

Also damn Bama really was hurt only having that 1 TO left

Keep fighting this fight if you want but Johnson took Barnes to school tonight in terms of TOs.

If he keeps his TOs until the end we win going away with the shooting run we were on up 15 in the 2nd half

Bama didn't need their last TO when they quickly took a 6 point lead late when it was tied. TO usage means very little early on. If it does, how did TN stretch a 6 point lead to a 15 point lead when Bama called TO?

Lol

TO#1 tenn had 16pts with 12min to go 1st half. Bama then closes the lead to 25-24 at half. TO WORKED

TO#2 Tenn had 6pt lead and it ballooned to 15. TO failed

TO#3 Tenn had 15 point lead. Bama goes on 14-0 run. TO worked.

Johnson believed in the power of the TO and called another very quickly after the second one failed.

He gets a big fat L if he doesn't

Unless a big change is made... what follows is random. Barnes called one to remove Mostella. Barnes does not draw up plays. It is better for him to let them play if possible and to weather the storms. You also need to click to run when Punter is on the bench and you still have a lead.

Punter sat down when the 2nd and 3rd TOs were called. Unless Bama's time outs caused Punter to foul, it's meaningless.

Tonight is the only night I've thought Barnes didn't call timeouts enough to get control of the game. I haven't watched every game, but he should've managed them and used them in better spots than he did tonight. Tonight was a cluster.

We shoot 15% the last 13 minutes and I'm to believe TO management cost us the game?

What the hell; it's late. Want to sell me life insurance, too?

He was actually using his TOs tonight.

Lol. Our Usage of TOs didn't cost is this game.

Without Bama using theirs so well we would have won.

And the last TO we used was comical in that we had a pathetic plan out of it

Never knew a TO could win a game - I thought you had to make shots to win a game.

Hell is freezing over, but I actually agree with Bruin about the TO last night. Barnes called it too late in the 15 lead meltdown.
