Man, I hope Worley's ticked off...

Sure, their defense was better, but our poor QB play made them look a lot better.

They allowed Tennessee to score 3 points, but that was the least number of points that any team scored on them last year including Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and all the non conference cupcakes they played.

And Missouri winning the east was a real fluke IMO. They won less because they were so good and more because Florida and Georgia inexplicably choked.

A couple of Dobbs turnovers and the Josh Smith drop turned the game. Not blaming Dobbs much less writing him off... it was just a tough task for him.

Missouri knows exactly who will be their QB this year.
In truth, Mauk's job is in as much jeopardy from Berkstresser as Worley's is from Dobbs. I know you guys have some deep need to think Worley is going to be beaten out... but it is unlikely.

Tennessee has no clue..... and its not because Butch Jones has so many great options that he just cant choose.
Pure... delusion and baseless negativism. Remember also that Jones went out an FOUND Dobbs. He wanted him.

Also remember that when building his foundational class this past year... he felt good enough about his QB's to not pursue a QB recruit very hard. If you don't have guys who can be your QB of the present and future... you don't ignored the position.

So while you may be far more of an expert on QB talent than Jones is... it seems he disagrees with your assessment.

That, in and of itself would cause Mauk to be ranked higher than any of our QBs.
If it were true... yeah. But not so much.

I hope you are wrong...

Honestly, I hope that I am wrong too! but to say that Worley beat SC is just wrong. Even on the last drive he threw three bad passes and North made a great catch on the last one and we beat SC on a field goal. It's not like he drove the ball downfield and stuck it in the checkerboards for the winning score. Obviously I'm not the only one on here who saw it that way. But hey, Go Worley, GBO

That was not a bad pass from Worley on North's "miracle" one hand catch. He fit it in a window because the safety was coming over the top and indeed arrived there just after North made the grab. Had he thrown it even 6 inches shorter the corner that was draped all over North would've likely broken it up. Not saying it was perfect, but I don't believe it was a bad pass at all.
