Yeah, they play off of each other. I think them ripping each other and using the guests to help do that makes it funny. Some of the guests are bad. When they have comedians on, it’s pretty good.

As with anything, the organic version last year was so much better. After Eli and a guest or 2 dropped a couple bombs and the bird flipping incident, I'm guessing the suits made them button it up more this year. As with most things, when the suits get involved, the product usually suffers.

The guest questions and pics and videos are very well "outlined" if not outright scripted. They don't just "magically" pull that stuff up and there's definitely a "we'll ask this, show this, then this" and the guests aren't blindsided, they know what's coming.

Some of the "banter" with Eli and Peyton has pics and videos too, which is obviously outlined before the show.

The game comments are spontaneous and the observations but even in that Eli and Peyton are often looking at notes about the teams.

It's not that they don't talk football, try to guess plays, show some depth about what happened..... but a heck of a lot of the topics are certainly planned if not even rehearsed by Eli and Peyton.

Exactly my point. The guy I replied to said it's not scripted and they're just watching the game.

They aren't. They're doing a TV entertainment show while a football game is on. The game is secondary to the entertainers. Anyone who can't see that is the reason TV networks get so wealthy.
