Reality check: UT just beat Florida and DROPPED 3 SPOTS in the rankings. Seems like these "overreacting" fans aren't the only ones that see the issues. Try to check your own overreaction next time.

My favorite is how little the people complaining about coaching know about football.

When we intentionally took the delay of game penalty on 4th down after trying to draw them offsides, we had people complaining about coaching because they 0 understanding of what was going on

I think that’s what embarrasses me the most as well. Like someone screaming at a vehicle for almost hitting them when they were the one who ran the red light. Got the right to do it? Absolutely! But I’ll avoid a discussion with them about football cause their negative misunderstanding of the game makes for embarrassing rhetoric. JMO.

As always a response to social media in general is a waste of time. It is funny/sad how single individuals can draw so much attention now when in the past they had almost no voice and no credibility. That said, I will sit here and proclaim that CJH got out-coached by Napier in general this past weekend......and some would argue got out-coached in all 3 games against Napier regardless of winning 2 of 3 from them. I for one think our current OC is outmatched in terms of development and Golesh is missed immensely regardless of whether he or Huep was calling plays. AGolesh had the team more prepared and could see in-game defensive set-ups faster I'm quite sure.

A lot of people continue to double down on bashing players. Being critically constructive is one thing, even the silliness of criticizing play calling, but personally bashing players is over the top.

Agreed, if it carries over into the next day other than corrective criticism they may need take a step away from social media for the day.

I know several posters here who played a collegiate sport at the highest level. You won't ever see any of them bash a player because they all know how difficult it is to compete at that level. Some posters just can't comprehend it
