IMO. USC got what it deserved. Not ML but USC. Karma is a B****. S. Garcia can do whatever he wants and as long as he can win ballgames it's all ok. The moment he can no longer win he's given a drug test and kicked off the team. Without ML USC is toast and I believe that's exactlly what they deserve. For their corrupt ways.

I wish him a speedy recovery. He's gonna play for years on Sundays.

But I'm glad Spurrier has no chance of the winning the SEC. He'll never win another one, and for that I'm glad.

I'm sorry guys, Vol Nation knows what its like to lose not one but two star players. Hope he has a nice and quick recovery. I wasn't really looking forward to facing him but I didn't want to hear this.

I wanna beat em bad, but i wanna beat em when they're at their best. Oh, I'm sorry, this is a steve superior team. I take that back. I"ll try to set a new NCAA scoring record on him. You know he would on us. I'm very sorry for Latimore. He's a great runner. We've not seen the last of him. Just don't bring out any funky home uniforms. Blacks jerseys would be OK.

so Florida loses QB, Tenn loses QB and star WR, and S Carolina kicks off QB and loses star RB - Mark Richt is living right

the stars do appear to be aligning for Georgia and Richt this year to win the east by default.

I hate that one of the best running backs in the country is hurt that bad. I would rather beat a team that has all its best players, it means more! That being said, hope he has a speedy recovery. GO VOLS!!!

Just a matter of time, good back but he was basically on the field for almost every play. 400+ carries in 1.5 years, sure he wasn't hurt carrying the ball but it was a matter of time. I think I recall saying the guy would be very lucky to make unhurt at SC the way Spurrier was using him. Hope he recovers.

I am all for Richt keeping his job as long as possible.

As far as USC lite, this really hurts them. Not sure what they have left on offense - Sure they have Jeffrey but no balance means he is going to get eaten up.

We are down to our fourth and fifth string running backs. We will likely become pass-oriented.

Exactly. And that, a team, even a bad team, can stop.

Gameplan for UT vs. USC - make whoever is running beat them.

Gameplan for USC vs. UT - make Simms beat em.

Which is best case scenario, imo.

We beed UGA fans to have a reason to keep richt around for a few more years.

SIAP... "Spurrier said Lattimore had a torn ligament in his left knee and also suffered some cartilage damage. Lattimore will require surgery and will miss the rest of the season, although doctors want to keep the knee braced and allow it to stabilze for several weeks before operating. " per associated press.

I hate to hear it, lattimore is a great back. The date with S.C. just became very intriguing and a lot more winnable.

Reminded me of the Eric Berry injury this season - 2011 year of the injury I guess - as for him running the ball 30 times - what choice when Garcia was the QB plus it kept their fresh.

What a great RB hate it for him, I wish Tennesssee could get a recruit like this guy we really need a stud running back in this class.
