Betting they stay in house for an interim and coach search all next season.

Luke Fickell is an Ohio guy through and through so doubt he goes to Michigan, even MSU. I also doubt Cincy has any interest in Jones, as they have been quite good lately, and seeing what a loser coach Jones is. They could and should deserve lots better.

There are plenty of instances where coaches go to rival schools. Jeremy Pruitt for example, Vince Dooley and Pat Dye basically traded. Hopefully if Pruitt has that kind of success he will be a legend at Tennessee only.

There is dirt to go around on that campus. Lots of shady stories coming out at MSU.

That’s disappointing. I always thought he seemed like one of those old school, no nonsense types of coaches. I kind of figured that seat was getting warm, but I always thought he was good for college football.

Wow. This is worse timing than Kiffin. Hopefully he has an appointed heir.

I think national signing day is tomorrow.

Not really. With the main signing day in December now, everyone’s recruiting classes are all pretty much wrapped up and taken care of, save for a few recruits.

That’s a very different situation from when Kiffin left for USC.

You really think after UT having to pay our so much money fo Title IX violations for Butch that the Spartans would be interested in him? There are reasons other schools have little interest in him being in charge of their programs.

Some talk that his health isn't where it needs to be, not certain but that might have something to do with it. Another mediocre season and his seat was probably getting pretty warm anyway. He had a pretty decent career at MSU.
Health {cough... cough}

There are also reasons that Bob Stoops is coaching Semi-Pro football in Dallas 😂😂😂

Should be. When UM, OSU and PSU are good, its tough in that division. Comparing B10E to SECe, I would say Mich State = USCe.

In the pecking order I’d agree, but Michigan State has a much better history than South Carolina. Having already been to a CFP they have a much higher ceiling than South Carolina. It’ll be interesting to see how much the program takes a hit now that Dantonio is gone with the 3 big boys in B1G East on pretty solid footing . They really need to knock it out of the park with the hire or else they will become UK or South Carolina for the foreseeable future IMO.
