on sportscenter, and I mean blasted. You could almost see the smoke coming from dude's ears. He was saying that if Pryor and Co. up at Ohio State would have been playing in the SEC instead of the Big 10, they would be suspended immediately, not after the Sugar. He said that the Big 10 and Pac 10 are the ncaa's "sacred cows". He provided examples of AJ Green and others. Sweet.

Please tell me you aren't defending the AA, Beef.

I don't see any reason they shouldn't start their suspension today.

Not at all. I'm pointing out that May is an idiot for making such a statement with Cam stuff THIS year.
Had he said something to the affect that the AA is inconsistent and that they have no idea when to or not to enforce their rules I would applaud him. But with Cam Newton getting NOTHING for his fiasco... well I think Mark May looks stupid.

I can buy that.

I can't stand the NCAA. I wish the colleges would defect and start over to be truthful with you.
And you will not find a bigger UT fan or SEC fan than I. But in this case the emperor has no clothes...

You dont want to open that can of worms

It would ruin CFB just like it has pro sports

Just more whiny ass little babies wanting more money

No can of worms here. I don't want to pay players either. I just think it's important to look at ALL sides of an issue. It is a fact that universities and conferences make millions off of student athletes. Disseminate that however you like.

The problem is you starting to get into a Collusion with all this. I mean you have rules setup by the NCAA that favors the college controlling kids at the benefit of the NCAA and the college.

Eventually this is going to have to come to a stop. I would like it to be pay free but not like the NCAA and these schools are going about this. The BCS is already under investigation by the Feds, I actually hope the NCAA is next.

Of course the schools and the NCAA want it to be pay free, they benefit. I would to if I were collecting all the cash.

As I said in another thread the NCAA wants to give OSU at least somewhat of a chance to beat an SEC team.

That is chugging whiskey. Most of the libation in my price range is just the sipping kind....a man could do worse than Woodford Reserve or Makers Mark.

Chugging? I know it's good and I have on occasion been known to... shall I say Chug some. But it is a very fine whiskey and one of if not the oldest brands of bourbon. Whey they started making it W was still Prez...

Washington that is...:hi:

Hmmm. Gotta disagree. All three are fine bourbons. All three are in the exact same price range.

Basil Hayden is a fine bourbon.
