Was speaking to a Dawg fan yesterday (live in Georgia, for some reason, the place is overrun with these vermin) and he thinks if Richt loses more than 2 this year, he's gone and sees Kirby Smart as the replacement.

I hope he's wrong, as a Vol fan, I like Richt. Must be how our rivals felt about Fulmer.

That hire in particular would bring so much division amongst Bulldog nation. Kirby is not really a popular man around Athens. And no, its not just because he turned the DC job down. There's been a few things done in the recruiting trail that has angered alot of UGA fans.

Kirby would be a candidate but he would not be at the top of the list, Dan Mullen would be the top guy IMO.
