Mark Richt's Ship Has Finally Sunk.....No?

It wouldn't take a miracle for them to win 8 or 9 games. The tough part of their schedule is really over with.

Not sure why everyone says this.

They have three games left that are almost a lock.

They could easily lose to any other team left on the schedule.

I'd be shocked if they got to 9 wins.

That's like Fulmer boasting about his record against AL.

I don't know anything about that. I do know that Bama was not the kind of team they are right now. I know they don't like to remember the Shula days but they were an average SEC team before Saban arrived.

And you can't look at the last 10 years record vs. UT as a gauge of Richt's overall success.

The discussion is not about the overall success of CMR. I just pointed out CMR's record vs UT. Facts are facts. I'm not delusional about the last 2 years. To say CMR was not a success at UGA is not a very good argument.

And to use a 60% record against UT this past decade is not a very good argument either.

No one should take any stock in any thing you type from this post forward.

Thread title: Mark Richt's ship has finally sunk.....No?

I think the discussion has got to be about his overall success.

You're right on the title of the thread. I jumped in on the argument about the Vol fan wanting CMR at UGA for a long time. My bad on not being clear.

We'll take him underachieving there forever. Fuller boasts a great record vs a bunch of teams, but underachieved like a wild man. Beating up on us in the sorriest 5 year stretch of my lifetime has helped your version of Fulmer. You shouldn't care.

But AL was a powerhouse during those years just as we have been the last four or five. Come on now :crazy:

Utgibbs' lost ass told me beating AL was Fulmer's genius rather than AL's historic ineptitude.

To answer the title of the thread. Yes, it seems that it sailed last weekend. The fanbase is not too happy with CMR right now.
