Dear Lord, for those interested, go to @Americanmuck on Twitter. They have some of the "would get me banned if posted here" posts by Mark Robinson. Dude's straight up nasty. Loves to be peed on. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Yeah. I don't recommend going there. I haven't, but if it is the same stuff I have seen, it is hard to "unread." For all your hyperbole on this board, "nasty" understates Robinson's posts.
I hate to admit it, because there is no way I will vote for Josh Stein. Setting aside my personal knowledge of the man and focusing only on the issues, Stein is a complete disaster policy-wise for NC. He is as far left as Gavin Newsom, and that just isn't gonna work here. The best it does is ensure grid-lock with an (R) legislature.
Robinson's posts out there that are shocking in the level of their depravity. I doubt any of them are "true", but even if they are not, they evidence a level of depravity indicative of some sort of mental illness. Mr. Robinson may claim to be a "changed man," and I believe there is nothing God can not redeem, but even with redemption, there are consequences (See, e.g., David, Uriah, and the loss of Bathsheba's child.)
Even beyond the vile internet posts, there are more practical issues than old internet posts that are plaguing Mr. Robinson. There are a few more bombs to drop on Mr. Robinson, more recent in time and exceedingly disqualifying. This guy is beyond cooked.
How the state (R) party couldn't see some of this coming (just wait for these new allegations to come out, there may be a paper trail or recordings on these) and put up a better candidate is beyond me.
Guess I am gonna have to "no-vote" for Governor. I hate it. But I just can't vote for Mark Robinson, in spite of my contempt for Stein.
