Mark Stoops

I thought it was funny he was on the sidelines screaming at the officials because he didn’t like Heupel being on the field.

Probably the biggest cry baby in the SEC, not named Nick Saban.
I can't wait to listen to the Mark Stoops show at 6:00pm Monday on the UK Athletics website it should be interesting to hear his excuses why the team wasn't ready after having a week off.

I find it interesting that Heupel used to stay at Stoops house when he was at Oklahoma. How do you think that after game conversation went?
Stoops - "great team you got there Josh"
Heupel - "sorry for making your team look bad but your brother fired me at OK and I am paying it back best I can"

I just read his quotes and he just said “we got beat by a better team.” None of the Saban and Alabama player stuff like “we weren’t chanting” or “we had anxiety” or “we beat ourselves” or…….on and on ad nauseum.

I was rewatching some of the first half I missed. So instead of coaching his team during the break at the end of the first quarter, Mark Stoops spent most of the break complaining about Heupel being on the field at the end of the quarter when we weren’t going to run a play. This tells you a lot about Stoops. Instead of working with his team during the break he would rather bitch at refs which he knows is not going to get him anywhere.

Heupel has a way of getting inside opposing coaches’ heads like that. They do illogical and counterproductive things. Saw it with Kelly and Saban too

Yep.

That’s what got Butch fired was the inability to adapt away from his comfort zone.

That's right. Look at Tennessee's offense. The base is to spread everyone out and create running lanes and throwing lanes, moving fast. But this year Tennessee has shown the ability to go to tight sets, the rarely used I - formation, and jumbo sets. Even using a fullback and H-back. You always keep your opponent off balance by being very multiple like that on offense. The good news is that Joe Milton knows this play book very well too, so we should be in good hands next year too.

Don’t forget, we were scared of 100 lb female fans on the field 😂
