I find it interesting that Heupel used to stay at Stoops house when he was at Oklahoma. How do you think that after game conversation went?
Stoops - "great team you got there Josh"
Heupel - "sorry for making your team look bad but your brother fired me at OK and I am paying it back best I can"
Hes got 2 -10 win seasons at KENTUCKY so yea hes a decent coach. Its not like they got 5 stars lining up to play there. You gonna say Saban cant coach as well, since Heupel outcoached him too? When? He sure as hell didn't catch much last night
Where has this narrative been created that he's a "good" coach?
He has coached at Kentucky since 2013. His record at Kentucky is 64-56 or 53%. He does have the most wins of any football coach at Kentucky. By that standard, he is decent.Hes got 2 -10 win seasons at KENTUCKY so yea hes a decent coach. Its not like they got 5 stars lining up to play there. Not only that, he plays ball control offense. That'll always get you spanked against the better teams. Tennessee will always own KY so long as he is there.
That's because they had possession at the end of both halves. If Tennessee has the ball first and Kentucky ends the 1st half with the ball. They both have 5 possessions. Kentucky then gets it first the second half and ends the game with the ball. They would have more possessions than Tennessee. Math it out on paper if you don't believe me.Tennessee had 12 possessions to UK's 11 since UT had the first possession and the last one also.

I certainly hope that you aren't arguing that Team B isn't just as likely to have the extra possession.Team A receives opening kickoff from Team B and Team A ends first half in possession of the ball giving them 1 more possession than Team B in the first half.
Team A is +1 in possessions at that point.
Team B receives opening second half kickoff and Team A ends game in possession of ball giving Team A and B have the same number of possessions in second half.
Adding the total possessions from 1st half to the total possessions from 2nd half yields one additional possession for Team A, an extra possession.
Receiving the opening kick doesn't guarantee an extra possession but it can and does happen.
