hey marlon come across the middle where eric berry lives. after you get your head knocked off, we'll see how grandmother feels about her decision then. Does she not know that God carries out his judgment of the world though eric? haha but for real you cant be serious with this grandma shiiii. i bet she knits all of his clothes and sends him little treats in the mail.

He hasn't been mentioned at all in any practice reports I've read so he must not be doing anything special. Anyone know how he has looked so far down in Athens?

I have no personal issue with Richt and no issue whatsoever with her reasoning.

I wish Marlon were a Vol however I would also be impressed by a coach that shared my intensity of faith. It wouldn't be the only deciding factor but it would be one of them.

It is funny that they ask him if they recruited her and he says no, but every statement he makes is about how they were talking to her about him.

He can't even see what took place. Grandma runs this boys life and he can do nothing about it.

If MB had committed to UT, you guys would be all over his jock. :)

He is just a kid. He went where his Grandma and girlfriend wanted him to.....cant blame him too much. And to insinuate he wont succeed at UGA because of AJ Green is laughable......I am glad that Ambles and Milton dont think that way. Marlon will have plenty of chances to play there. In one of Chris Low's blogs on ESPN I believe, Richt is talking about MB being very impressive going up for the ball.

Atlanta sports radio was saying Brown and Charles are studs right now. There is some homerism but they seemed to think both would contribute big time this year.

There has to be pass protection and a QB to get it to them. They are going to get blitzed all day. It is going to be a long year for UGA. They would do best to play a freshmen QB now and suck it up this year. Or they could extend this to a 2 year thumping in the SEC.
UF may actually go undefeated this year. Then UT or USClite. UGA is best 3 probably 4 in the SEC east. I will eat my crow if wrong. Just the way I see it.

You do realize that UGA will have one of the best and most experienced OLs in the country this year, not to mention two very good fullbacks with game experience. Oh, and while one of the top returning blocking TEs will be gone the first half, two of the brightest stars so far have been Artie Lynch and Orson Charles, not to mention a nightmare match-up in Aron White. I think there will be plenty of quality pass protection at UGA this year.

Marlon Brown looks good in photos, and he, like most of the WRs will play, but Wooten has been mentioned more at this point.

If he doesn't contribute with them having only 6 scholarship WR's then he would really suck. I'll be surprised if he does much of anything this year.

UGA has almost a full two-deep O-line with game experience. They will be one of the best O-lines in the country next year. With the pass protection they will have, it won't matter who is throwing the ball to them. Crompton could succeed with that O-line

Hate to continue this thread, but what I hate more is how Mark Richt uses religion to try and attract recruits. It's flat out shameful.

Like someone said before, we got the best Brown available!

Hopefully Marlon gets a good education, because he isn't going to make in into the league at UGA. He'll have to find another way to support grandma in this hell-hole called Memphis.

Their one strength might be the best strength to have.

OL: solid
RB: iffy
QB: iffy
WR: AJ Green and Michael Moore=good
TE: athletic
DE: poo
DT: solid
LB: Rennie Curran is good, everyone else iffy
DB: ehh...could go either way.

Richt will find a way to lose when he shouldn't like usual. Mikey Bobo and Willie Martinez are probably some of the worst coordinators in the country.
