Marlon Brown

idk about start...

He said there is a chance, and I agree he will have a chance.

CLK seemed to insist that every spot will be competitive. He also seemed to insist that the young guys will have every chance to prove themselves. I would say that there is a chance MB can see good time if Kiffin sees something to work with for the future.

That is if we can land MB first.

Marlon will be good, I just don't think he's had the best coaching so far. He has a gamebreaking potential though.

Being from the memphis area, I hear its between Georgia and the Vols... Stafford going to the draft I think that could help. We need this guy badly. Good luck CLK

Stafford will stay for another year. His family is loaded, and when he talked to the Manning family, they all told him that getting his degree and taking his senior year to develop more would be the best thing he could do.

I don't know if this will help or hurt our chances at Brown. I think the best thing for us that is going against Georgia is AJ Green's presence. Green will be the go-to guy Brown's first two years at Georgia. I think the chance to be a stud right away and develop a relationship with another freshman (Boyd) will help our cause. Stokes on the other side of the field, and Giles/Oku in the backfield could help open things up too.

Stafford is rated as the #1 QB by Mel Kiper and other draft analysts. I think it would be dumb for him not to come out.. but up to him obviously.

I agree. This is just what I've read and heard.

Yeah - I'm not disagreeing with you on it. Just think he's crazy if that's the case.

You don't need a degree if you're going to get that kind of guaranteed money. You can always go back and get it.

I do not like Georgia but I like the way Stafford throws the ball. IMO if he wants a degree he'll stay. If he wants the instant cash here comes the draft.

Brent said he'll have an article up in a few about the in home visit for anyone with an account.

"His offense is really nice," Brown said. "I mean he didn't even have to sell me on that. Everyone knows what his offense has done."
"It was very important that he came to see me first," Brown said. "He told me that he could have went to an alumni dinner and stuff in Knoxville to get settled in, but that he came to see me because he wants to recruit the best in America."

Says he needs to talk to him more and build a relationship but said "oh it was real good."

With UT getting the last official, I think he is a Vol. Actually, I think he is a Vol no matter what.

Awesome. Sounds like the man knows how to sell his program. I like that he threw in the fact that he could be at some alumni dinner, but came to see the best in America instead, play to that ego a little bit.

Why is Brown wanting to announce the day after signing day? Does anyone know?

The same reason they go to the All Star bowls with 3 hats or call news conferences in high school...Me factor...a little attention. Doesn't bother me as long as he puts a beautiful bright ORANGE hat on with a nice big WHITE "T" in the middle...maybe a "VOLS" on the back and SEC on the side...(did I miss anything?):cool2:
