If the article was correct, Kiffin, Drayton, Scott and Adkins just finished up a home visit with Marlon Brown, and flying in to do the presser.

That should let MB know he's a top priority.

Not for sure. Looks like Kiffin may not have anyone in particular for these 3 position coaches and giving them a shot on the recruiting trail. Probably something like, here's your shot, open tryouts.

I think Scott and Drayton will be kept when CLK sees how close they are to these recruits and when walk through the front door.

My brother-in-law just talked to Marlon. Kiffin is coming in to visit tonight. Pray that it goes well because he is on the Georgia train right now.

Well if he wants to play second fiddle to AJ Green for two or three years then by all means go on.... Kiffin will play Marlon next year, and he more than likely would be our best receiver before playing his first game.

Welcome to the board. Marlon would be the one of the best highschool WR to come to UT in quite some time.

Boyd, Oku, Brown, Williams, and Giles
could be
Leinart, Bush, M. Williams, and Lendale by their senior years.

I am really interested to see who the OC will be.

I know he said that, but that's not what I hear from Harding Academy students/alum. I think he wants to try both early in his career and go from there.

Yea, I think he will try to play basketball too. His future is football though. Apparantly Pearl was one of the first basketball coaches to go watch his games and recruit him. I dont know how much he would play at Tennessee though (in basketball of course).

Yeah, I don't know how much floor time he would see on the basketball court with the team we have now. However, he was runner-up for "Mr Tennessee" last year as a jr. and is an outstanding player. You can't really blame him for wanting to play both.

I believe my brother-in-law that went to school with MB and the kid that MB stayed with during his official visit to UT. They are closer to him than any reporter asking him questions.

I see a lot of AJ Green in this guy. AJ Green was a good basketball player too at Summerville HS. I really do hope we get him!!! I just can't see him going to a team where he wouldn't be the top dog.

LOL, I know, just dreaming a little. But you can bet CLK is going to use the comparision as his main selling point so I figured what the heck.

Going by CLKs comments in the presser, I believe MB will be a VOL. He has a chance to come and START. Legit chance.
