Marlon Brown

Interesting read on Brown's upcoming visit to UGA...

Welcome to AJC! | ajc.com

“No sir, no, I will not be committing to anyone this weekend,” Brown said on Wednesday evening.

“I like Georgia a lot. I wanted to go back and see it again, talk to the players and coaches, and basically just get more information so I can make the best college decision possible.”

“They are real excited about me coming back there,” Brown said. “They said they are appreciative that I’m taking the time to learn more about [UGA]. It’s a good thing for me, too. I had fun the first time I went there, and I want to see if I feel the same way when I go back.”

Brown admitted there’s a huge amount of hometown pressure for him to sign with Tennessee. One the same day that Lane Kiffin was hired as Tennessee’s coach, Kiffin left directly from his press conference to catch a flight from Knoxville to Memphis. He watched Brown’s high school basketball game, and then had an in-home visit.

“That was amazing, I still can’t believe he did that on the same day he was [hired],” Brown said.

I truely believe Brown goes to Ohio State with Tajh. Apparently Brown will be meeting with UGA's BBall coach this weekend. I definitely think he goes to OSU, UGA, or UT.

Stokes and Jeffreys will prolly be the best.. but Brown would be a huge get himself. he has probably more NFL potential out of all of him..

The statement getting Brown would make is huge.

He may not be quite the athlete the others are right now, but imagine what that would do with the "fence around Tennessee" motto that Kiffin is working on.

We don't need to let brown out of the state. Lazy we can fix, if its true.

Look at what Turner did at USC. It was the same thing that has been reported of him when he went there. He's still not the top caliber receiver everyone thought he would be and it's not because of the lack of athleticism.

USCs stable of WRs>>>>>>>>>>>>>x100 UTs

Not comparing stables, I am comparing work ethic.

You mentioned what Turner has done at USC. Just sayin he would have seen the field much faster at UT.

As far as practice goes, I'm guessing Brown gets bored with practice. His scout team is probably comparible to a good middle school team.

Probably true of Brown, but still that doesn't give him the reason to work less than 100% on the field. Maybe Kiffin thinks he can help him. Look at what he did for Mike Williams.
