i wasnt aware there was OSUck fans on here. If Brown wants to choke when it matters most then he can be my guest and go be a Buckeye

I know they lost the last 2 NC games badly....but as a UT fan, I sure wouldnt mind our program being at their level right now. Ill take 2 NC game losses over A) not making a bowl or B) going to a bowl that doesnt matter at all. Just FYI, I graduated from UT in 04 and lived my whole life in East TN until then....but I also got my Masters from OSU (where my late grandfather was an alum). I bleed orange...and would pull for UT over OSU without batting an eye...... but to be a UT fan and say OSU "sucks".... I think is pretty ignorant. The same UF team that beat the pants off of them has blown us out the last few years as well. OSU is consistently good to above average with Tressel, and they do it the right way. If CLK can do the same as Tressel, would you not be happy?

Actually, the Florida team that worked OSU in the National title game two years ago only beat Tennessee by 1 (21-20) in a game where UT had a 20-7 lead in the third quarter. That same year we went to the Outback Bowl where we lost to Penn St., but regardless we gave Florida a better shot than OSU did. Also, we led LSU in the fourth in the SEC Championship last year, and played them a lot better than OSU did.

I agree though, OSU is on a better level as a program. Anyone arguing that is crazy, but its a lot easier in the big 10, plus they were the media's darling until they lost to USC this season.

And, how OSU reached a BCS bowl over undefeated Boise State is ridiculous. The BCS should have put Utah and Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl in a battle of the unbeatens, and Texas and Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.

Texas Tech and Boise State were more deserving of BCS berths than OSU, but that's a whole different can of worms.. Sorry to get off subject. Back to Marlon Brown!

If by "decline" you mean winning 10 games every year, and playing in BCS bowls....yes.

Anyway, I hope Marlon stays home and plays at UT..... people up here seem to think he is a lock for OSU, for whatever that is worth. If I am him, I look at UT and see basically a NFL coaching staff, completely pro-style offense, and immediate playing time. He goes to OSU, he may sit a bit as they have a lot of talented young receivers. We gotta keep this kid in state.

I COMPLETELY agree with this. Utah and Boise deserved it, IMO as well. I bet the only thing that got OSU in was the number of fans they would bring. I bet if it were a 10-2 Volunteer team that lost to 2 Top 5 teams, they get in over Utah and Boise as well for the same reasons....program tradition and TONS of fans willing to travel. We need a damn playoff. Sorry, to stay on topic:

So what's your point? UF, UGA, USCe, UA, UM and LSU win 10 in the Tiny 10 this year!

What's your point? They're not in the big ten so it doesn't matter and no way South Carolina, LSU or Miami would've won 10 games. If UT's only losses were to two top 5 teams I would gladly take that.

Anyone can win 10 games in the Little 10 and then get slaughtered in a BCS game. We could've won 10 games in the Little 10.

OSU is most certainly proving it doesn't belong in the elites anymore. And they will do so again this year.

Scout.com reported Marlon Brown had a really good trip to UGA. It seems like either this kid panders to whichever school he is talking to at the time or he is so wishy washy it's absolutely pathetic. I hope it's the former because the latter makes me a little disconcerted. I know he's just a kid, but geez.
