Marlon Brown

It has been mentioned on another board that Bruce Pearl spoke to Marlon about playing BB here. Time will tell and the clock is ticking closer and closer to NSD.

I don't think the 4th can get here fast enough. Its starting to feel like christmas when the presents start getting put under the tree.

Thanks for the questions caller... to give you the abbreviated version:

1. No

2. Todd Cox- 4 star RB/LB- He was the number 50 guy on rivals going into his senior year, then he slacked off, didn't get the grades, and jumped to a couple different schools (Ole Miss, Memphis)...

Cox is a great example of our 2005 class. A class with so much promise that produced nothing.

was going through Google News to see if I could find any GA newspaper articles on what they're saying about Marlon.

get a load of this---

Forecasting where the top uncommitted prospects will go - Segrest on the SEC - al.com

"Luginbill says Tennessee has the edge while Bone believes Georgia and Florida are the final two."

If Andrew Bone is right that UF & UGA are Marlon Brown's final two there's going to be a lot of hat-eating going on, because at first look, I'd have to say that's the dumbest thing I've seen a recruiting writer pen this year.

I thought UF was out of the picture!

That whole article is so pro Bama that I threw up a little in my mouth reading it...

The_Underscored is vying for attention. Just ignore him. He's irrelevant.

I think that Marlon will be a Vol when all is said and done. The carpets will be rolled out for him next week and he will receive special attention.
