UGA came by to see him for 3 hours today. They watched basketball and "kicked it"

It was the same ole same ole for the most part. UGA is really pushing hard. We really need to wow him this weekend.

Forgive me if this has been posted before, but I learned from a "source" that Marlon Brown's girlfriend, whom he has dated for some time, will be attending Georgia on a scholarship, and may sway Brown's decision. I certainly hope this doesn't happen, but just thought I would share the info.

It is all about the visit. I think Marlon has had us in the lead but he had already visited GA so they might have the lead for now IMO.

and Brown's coming here this weekend? Well that would mean that UF is on his mind for less than 24 hours before traveling up here to see what UT is all about.
Brown likes all the schools, IMO. It really seems he has no favorites right now. However, I think he will end up at UT because that makes the most sense. I think he would go to UF before OSU BUT he would go to UT before he would UGA or UF, IMO. However, if distance is not a problem for him or grandma, potentially UF could conceivably pull a NSD surprise. No offense, but if I were a big time reciever, I would want a quarterback who could get me the ball and then realize that there is depth there at the QB position to carry me through my years of eligibility. BUT when all said and done I expect Brown to sign with the Vols because he is top priority for Mr. Kiffin. If you do get him, it is going to be fun trying to cover this guy for the next 4 years.

The problem with UF is your offense. Don't get me wrong, it is a really good offense. But if you are a big WR looking to make it to the NFL the Fla offense isn't the most Ideal to do so.

...or If he's anything like me that would be the perfect excuse to go to UT..."buh bye, it's not you, it's the program".

that doesn't sound good for us..

Ha! Florida fans don't know anything about football.

I've never met a Florida Gators fan that actually liked football. They like their team, but they don't seem to know jack about the sport.

There's a reason top WR's go to programs like USC over Florida---pro-style offense. Like Ohio said---it's all about YAC. You don't have wide receivers catching deep fades and posts----well except when you play the mighty Citadel.

Your coach wants track speed, not football speed. Other people want physical toughness and fundamentals, your coach wants dwarves that can run circles around people. In the NFL, everyone's fast, so the luxury of speed is largely negated.
