Marlon Brown

Win.

I just looked over my shoulder towards my television and saw Marlon Brown on ESPNU (replay of the Under Armor All American game) catch a TD pass. It must be a sign. :)

Watching his basketball highlights on youtube right now, and this guy has GREAT hands. He finished so many shots with his left hand down low. In fact I thought he was left handed for awhile until it showed him taking longer shots. He is strong, knows how to use his body, and is quick with great hops. Good court vision too. It's easy to tell that he would be a great receiver. I REALLY hope we get him tomorrow!!!

Hearing a lot of UGA rumors. Brent says the staff isn't that confident on Brown. Take it FWIW.

This stuff seems to change hour to hour. I think that I'm gonna choose to wait to watch the announcements rather than believe chatter.

Thanks for the info tho Sab.

Could go either way IMO. I like the fact that Ole Miss knows they're out of it, but we haven't heard that we are. The one thing that concerns me is that the coaches aren't confident which leads one to question whether or not Brown has notified them of his intentions.

I am about to drive right by Marlon Brown's High School. Should I spray paint a bunch of power T's all over the school? :) Any other ideas?

Just a note, Marlon is ambidextrious (sp?).... And I am not making a joke.

Final projections of top SE prospects

Here are my final projections for the top five uncommitted prospects in the Southeast. Again, these are projections (extremely educated guesses, really) and anything can happen on National Signing Day.

Dre Kirkpatrick (Gadsden, Ala./Gadsden)- Alabama. Texas got in the mix, but it's hard to see Kirkpatrick heading anywhere but Tuscaloosa.

Rueben Randle (Bastrop, La./Bastrop)- LSU. The Tigers simply don't let players of this magnitude out of their state. It would be a major upset if he leaves.

Greg Reid (Valdosta, Ga./Lowndes)- Florida State. The Seminoles did a great job building a relationship with Reid in a short amount of time.

Marlon Brown (Memphis, Tenn./Harding Academy)- Georgia. Imagine how nasty the Bulldogs' receiving corps will be if Brown develops like we thing and A.J. Green continues to shine? This is a major upset as Tennessee was thought to be in the driver's seat.

Sam Montgomery (Greenwood, S.C./Greenwood)- North Carolina. Montgomery remains a projection for the Tar Heels as he has been for weeks. It's really been UNC and LSU for some time.

I'm getting the feeling that Brown is bound for UGA. If that is the case best of luck to the kid, sure would of loved to have his talent on the field

Yea, just read that too on ESPN.com. What sucks is that now we have no way to contact these kids, we just have to sit and wait. :crossfingers:

I have a feeling Marlon's going to break our hearts today...everything I've read this morning points to him choosing UGA.
