There will be alot of ticked off members of the press if he doesn't commit today. That being said he should wait until tomorrow!

Probably already been said, but a friend of mine said he was seen wearing Ohio State gear today. Also, Memphis radio (560 AM) seemed to think he was going to OSU too.

It is tuff to say good bye to such a talented instate recruit but our offense will continue suffer until our current staff has some time to turn things around and the perception currently is not one of greatness so why does a great player wear orange this year?

If we win this battle I would be ecstatic but so far we have lost most of the recruiting battles on the offensive side. Great receiver want great QBs. Great QBs and running backs want great linemen. Great linemen take more time to recruit and everyone is dogging their trail. Next year our Linemen and QB play will help impact our coaches chances of landing Marlon Brown caliber talent.

If you publicly declared a recruit "priority number one"... would you consider it a success if you weren't able to get him?

That could just be analysis....like they'd be paying him to do. Floyd Reese is still allowed to say on national TV things the Titans do something wrong.

It looks like just a "he was looking committed, now he's not" statement. Not a job jab.

Either way, the fans dont need to pay any attention to it

Rubbish.

Marlon Brown was Kiffin's top recruiting target - remember when he said he was going to lock down the state?

Also, it's widely assumed that Brown will select between Ohio St., UGA, and UT. Of those three which team has a great passing QB that would provide the best opportunity for a WR to position himself for the NFL?

I still wonder about that "lock down the state comment"...I mean there's a good amount of talent in TN, but not enough I feel for a good/great football team unless he gets each and every big star recruit...which is impossible....Really he needs to try to dig back into GA
