Great post SPV and hang in there VIA...

First girl I dated after my 20 year marriage kicked me out of the nest after a year and a half. As she told me recently, I needed to quit moping around and find my balls. After 14 months "in the wilderness" we wound up watched the Florida game together and have been together almost every day since. In the wilderness, the more girls I went out with, the better she kept looking - not her stated intent, but she says it worked out well for her. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I proposed to her over lunch on the beach in Cancun and after 14 years as a single mom, she said yes. Our daughters are killing me planning our May wedding.

Picking a partner in one's late 40's is awesome. We both know what we like, what we want, what's really important, and what's not worth silly arguments...and she's a huge Vol fan (a tranny on the Hot Crazy Matrix)!

So Pimp (whoever you are now) and VIA, do the best you can with your kids and work on yourselves. The fact that one marriage didn't work doesn't have to define you. As Butch says, snap and clear! A better life is ahead. You just have to push forward and believe.
