Teague has been a 4* on Rivals for as long as I have followed him....did you mean Scout?

On the contrary, he's been a 4 star on Scout for quite sometime, but a 3 star on rivals up until yesterday.

You don't get it, this is an example of why I don't get worked up over stars. I just find it funny that he commits to Florida and that all of a sudden promotes his status, shady don't you think, buy that's how these things go.

I agree he would have moved up eventually, but I just find the coincidence of the timing all too funny.

I do think that they have changed the star ratings depending on who they commit too, but I don't think this is one.

Whenever he was considering us, everyone said Teague was an underrated 3* and should be a 4, and now everyone is saying he got bumped because he committed to Florida.

Okay, so would someone explain why they updated the athlete rankings 9 days after their last update?

I personally think the committment of Teague prompted Rivals to update their rankings and bump him to a 4 star. Notice how he is the last 4 star, coincidence, I think not.

just an opinion but the latest probably reflects all the all star state games

like teague had a decent game in the TN all star game as a QB..so they went ahead and bumped him

Its hard not to get worked up over the amout of stars a kid is rated, but its the only thing we have. We don't get to see all the film and rank them ourselves. I like to leave it to the coaching staff. They have the time to look at the film and they know what athletes they need. I really hope CLK is not looking to Rivals for his next recruit.

Just like everything else the star ranking can be argued both ways based on how the player preformed good/bad compaired to their star ranking. Look at Eric Berry 5* would you say his ranking was correct? You can go back to previous classes and compair their stars to there later preformaces and see how good/bad the ranking system is.

He has always been a 3* on rivals until it was recently posted. Idk, it may have changed right before his commitment, but it is very suspicious that it happened over a week after the rankings were released.

I still find it hard to believe when two weeks ago the updated rivals 250 came out and he was not bumped then. Why was it until he commited to Florida

Because they only updated the Rivals 250. Now they've updated everybody. Its not like Florida doesn't sign 3 stars.

Whether he committed to Florida or us, I think Teague was going to move to a 4 star anyway, he was as high as you can get at 3 stars and really is a talented player. Sucks that we couldn't reel him in, but you can't get everybody especially given the disadvantages we faced this year.

yeah...he was always a 3star. And I completely agree with the last part of your post. I think Kiffin is showing some real determination and also living up to his billing as an incredible recruiter.:hi:

Sorry if this was posted earlier, but does Teague have an official visit here? I know he committed to UF but thats a long time between now and NSD, maybe CLK could give him some of the kool-aid and work his magic by then.:dance2:
