Hopefully Kiffin can keep Teague in state. It's a loooooooooooong shot, though. He's definitely a quality prospect. He was awarded the Class 4A Mr. Football back award over Eric Gordon and Univ. of Memphis commit Will Gilchrist.

OrangeBlood731, if you hear anything after the visit, please let us know. I really hope the guys from my alma mater decide to play for UT.

I live right outside of Paris, got a chance to see both of these guys play and they are for real. There is a junior (I think) on the same team that will be a big time prospect next season too. I really really hope we can get both of these dudes to stay in state, this part of the ( Put up the fence around TN ) thing that Kiffin promised, work your magic Lane.

I loved it when CLK said "no coach will outwork me" and in the early stages of his employment he is proving this to be true. Why couldn't have fulmer and others hit the recruiting trail this hard?

We need a "Following Lane on the Recruiting Trail" thread where we can update what part of the country he's in and who he's talking to.

Good idea, but I am partial to the name "Where in the world is Lane Kiffin?"

Teague said Kiffin was in his living room all night last night. Kiffin said he was a top priority and that he wanted him to play slot. Teague is now torn b/w UT and UF........Hell yeah.

not really torn between us two. GT is still in the lead. We're 3/4 on his list right now.

Edit: GT is not in lead. They are 2nd behind UF. Then us and Bama.

Does anyone think his ranking will shoot up? He has offers from some really good programs.

His quote was along the lines of " I was favoring UF, but now UT has definitely got my attention. Only a couple schools are going to let him play WR and Kiffin sold him his dreams so I like our chances.

I love that Kiffyboy is a man of his word. He grabbed his post hole digger and got started on day one. Now he is well on his way to building that fence. For all of you people that call into VOLCALLS, this means that he's a real go getter!!! ewww eeee ewww!

Does anyone else think 5-10 seems a little short for a receiver in the SEC? If Kiffin told him that though, he probably meant it. By the way he was so honest with Boyd, I don't think he would try to lead a recruit on.

Percy Harvin is only 5' 11", He sure isn't having any problems in SEC play.

You gotta love it! Even if he doesn't end up at UT, the fact the Kiffin has put his sights on him so late in the game and actually has him reconsidering his choices is very telling about Kiffin's recruiting prowess!

Kiffin is a man with a definite plan.
Exciting times to be a Vol fan!

I had the opprotunity to watch Teague play in week ten. He is the real deal. Just has that something which make players special. UT needs a talent like him.
