Aren't we all bro's?
Did you see yemi/Jenkins? CJ/Noah? Neither of those sparked brawls, or resulted in charges being filed my friend.
No.
I've observed plenty of fights and altercations in sports; the fact that it does happen neither entails that it ought to happen nor that I support it.
Do you think that Kermit Washington was intending to nearly kill Rudy Tomjanovich when he punched him in the face? Or, do you think that Washington merely felt that he was doing what was "part of the game" and that it was understood, accepted, and mostly harmless?
Sure, bad things happen: the world is an incredibly perverse place. However, the decision not to play the ball anymore but to physically attack the man is a decision to do harm. You support this merely because you do not support certain athletes expressing themselves in certain ways. I find that ironic (and moronic).
However, you are young and brash and you might still feel as though you must prove your machismo to others and to yourself. Best of luck.
So you had an issue with CJs elbow? Or yemis foul on Jenkins? Or any other flagrant foul ever committed by a UT player?
You can do things in a game that aren't gonna cause harm but send a message. Setting a bit harder screen on him than usual, or an elbow to the gut on a box out. You're once again acting as though I'm suggesting these guys jump Henderson and beat him to a pulp. I'm not.
If you wanna play a non contact sport go ply tennis, basketball can be a physical sport, sorry bruh. Brian Williams used to set some screens that would knock guys to the ground, it's part of basketball, did you have an issue with those?
You twisting my words and drawing your own assumptions ended the argument awhile ago.
Easy questions: Do you think your father's desire to physically assault Henderson is absurd? Do you support your father's desire to physically assault Henderson? Were you father to physically assault Henderson, would you support the filing of assault charges against your father?
If you answer these three questions "yes", "no", and "yes", respectively, then my assumptions are unwarranted. If not, then my assumptions throughout this discourse have been pretty spot on.
If my father wanted to kick his a$$ I'd have a video recorder in hand and make sure everyone saw it. Him saying that though I knew he wasn't serious....it was him speaking out of anger towards some kid who he felt was disrespecting the men and women who serve/d this country. If some veterans such as yourself don't mind it ok, but my father, and others have an issue with it. It's called an opinion.
