While there is chatter regarding the job status of Cuonzo Martin, the Vols' third-year coach said at his weekly news conference on Monday that he blocks it out.

"Don't waste time and energy on it," he said. "The next game presents itself. Move forward.

"Been doing it for years," he continued. "For me, as a ballplayer and a coach, I've been consumed with what I need to do for years. If you put the work in, everything else takes care of itself. If it's negative, I don't consume myself with it."

ROFL. This dude wouldn't even break a sweat if he didn't wear a suit into an arena. He's a joke and I don't expect him to say anything different.

CCM is lying off his arse on that. He's probably been thinking of his job security most of this season

I doubt you make that much money, hear all this talk and not even think about it. Like I said before, his wife is googling real estate agents.

It would be funny if somebody pulled a Bill Battle type thing and sent a moving van to CCM's house

Also, he did that little interview with John Brice about a week ago which I think was putting Cuonzo on public notice.

That's the way I read it as well. I didn't/don't know if I am taking too much from it or not. But the part about his expectation for the program is to make the dance was telling. IMO

I think hart and Cuonzo have definitely had a chat about what needs to take place over the next couple weeks.

The scary part to me is that, Martin didn't seem all that worried about it until about 30 seconds were left against A&M.

Yeah I notice the gum chewing hit warp speed the last 30and into overtime. Its a shame too because his demeanor could be a calming influence at times on the court.IMO But I have a feeling its like a duck on the water. On the outside he looks calm, but inside his head is feet are kicking a hundred miles an hour.

btw: not trying to be funny, dead serious
