Maybe you're blind, or just refuse to acknowledge it. You miss the post about the guy getting jumped? You miss the stories and videos of them doing exactly that? There have been people beaten and left for dead, some even killed during these protests. That's not paranoid, that's what's happening, and some of you refuse to even acknowledge it, much less say it's wrong.

Most police officers are fine.
Even the ones who are not, almost always act as if they are.
Out of the thousands of interactions police have every day in Atlanta, there are only a few prejudiced abuses of power a week.
But a few is to many. The exact same as a few protesters out of thousands turning violent is to many.
Only a simple mind would judge all protesters by the actions of such a few. Only a simple mind would judge all police by the actions of such a few.
But we should be able to hold police officers to a higher standard than we do a wrongheaded protester.
