Average monthly rent in in NYC is over $2600. The proceeds of that one stimulus check paid for 1/2 a month's rent or maybe the whole rent with a couple. With UE and the federal boost, New Yorkers might cover rent but have nothing left over for food, sundries, utilities, etc.

Maye their "great" democratic leaders can come up with a way to lower their cost of living.

Joe Biden says he will fix things "now" after 44 years of being in DC. and doing absolutely nothing but riding Obama's coattails for 8 long years and getting rich off of China and the Ukraine....Says he will bring the country together like never before ......ha. SOB doesn't even know what month it is until Jill tells him.

Sucks for them. Might want to start voting for people that won’t shut the state down and put them in the unemployment line.

It’s a free country .. just move if you can’t pay for where you are at . They can go from $2600 a month to $400 a month and get out of those high azz tax rates in NYC by moving to a rural part of the country . Problem solved .🤷‍♂️
