Mass shooting of the week, high school in parkland, FL.

Yep that SRO didn't do his job and you want to criticize this one for doing what he is supposed to do. Bravo.

No, they went from not doing a good job by incompetence to not doing a good job by overreaction. Neither is correct. They are trying to make up for their failures by over compensating, and in doing so are making things worse. A picture of someone doing something legal with no threatening commentary or insinuation is not probable cause for anything. Are you a fan of stop and frisk too? Do you think people out late at night deserved to be questioned by police?

School discipline is one thing, but when law enforcement gets involved, you're going up several levels. There's a huge difference between detention and jail.

In a normal school situation the law enforcement involved is a Resource Officer which I think is the perfect way to sort of bridge the gap. I can agree with you that if it serious enough to bring in outside LEOs, then parents need to be contacted immediately.

Any news come out about Trump and you analyze it in a vacuum independent of everything already known. A kid get questioned by the SRO's about an insensitive tweet and you want to bring up one that was asleep in the car months ago, equate them, and then demonize this one. Yes you carry quiet a bit of water. That kid is playing you like he just discovered his "special purpose".

insensitive? wtf are you talking about? having a different opinion is now insensitive?

the third was an outside LEO.

Glorifying?

So stupid people protested and walked out so that means everyone else should be stupid too? No one should have a gun that stupid people are protesting just because they protested?

What the F is wrong with you?

Sounds like you have a serious case of the butt hurt. Like swamp ass after ten days in the desert without a shower level of butt hurt.

He knew exactly what he was doing. He was trying to agitate. He probably even got the response he was hoping for.

For the sake of argument let's say that's actually the case. That would mean the school and LEO fell for it, went full retard and the kid won.

It's obvious. Hog, Grand, weezer, and the rest have been played by a 17yo. He strummed their fears playing the victim card leading to their outrage as evident when they call the traumatized kids stupid and they need to be traumatized. Trump is a product of these idiots.

Says the troll being played by other high schoolers.
They’re stupid for blaming the gun. They’re stupid for blaming the NRA. They’re stupid for calling out advertisers of programs that made them feel bad. They’re stupid for blaming everyone and everything except the people who kill.

Also, they’re walking out to get out of school. Hell, one kid got hit by a car and was killed by skipping school.

Probably not. It would depend, at least to a degree, on what my child did.

In this particular case it was pretty easy. It wasn't a fight or something that happened without the parents knowing.

There's a good reason his parents were not notified. And it's not hard to find.
