At 8 a.m. Sunday the population of Kinsman, Ill., stood at 109. An hour later it nearly doubled, as upwards of 100 federal agents and police swooped in on the tiny, rural community. And no one seems to know why.
The law enforcement officers, including FBI agents, immigration officials and state police, surrounded an Islamic meat plant in Kinsman, cordoning off the area and briefly detaining the plant's handful of employees.
The FBI isn't saying much, and the county sheriff is mum too, leaving Kinsman's residents mystified. The bust, in a town that has no local police force, involved dozens of vehicles, a pair of snipers and a helicopter flying overhead, witnesses said — but it ended without even a single arrest.
"We're all baffled," Mayor Mark Harlow said. "You know, stuff like this doesn't happen in a small community."
The unusual show of force has residents spooked and has left the mayor searching for answers.
"The public reaction is ... are they safe? We don't know," Harlow said. "What are they doing? We don't know. Are they making bombs? We don't know."
Harlow said residents of the town rarely see the five or six employees of the First World Management butcher shop, which provides ritually slaughtered and processed lamb and goat meat for Muslims living in Chicago, 50 miles to the northeast.

Hard to tell sometimes if you don't know the poster. People actually believe that we should allow the muslim population to grow and grow in this country until it chokes the air out of christianity.

so you think Islam should be limited in growth in the US? The gov't should take these actions?

The government can't do anything. The "World View" of our country is to important(to the current democrats anyway). All we can do is stop the flood of immigrants from coming in(which we already have minus mexico).

We as a country cannot allow that hatred religion in to our schools. Its slowly happening BTW. What do you suggest PJ?

IMO we should kick all religion out of schools but I realize I'm in the minority. And since most US schools are publicly funded there's nothing anyone can do to keep Islam out (nor should they).

If it happens it happens and my kids will go to private schools

Christianity/Judism is already out. Other than certain systems that allow clubs to meet on campus. But allowances are now being made for Islamic students to pray and wash and nothing is being said.

Are Christian students being stopped from praying before their lunch? I doubt it. You don't need a club to pray. How dare we allow these Islamic students to adhere to the tenets of their faith....praying and washing!?! How could we stoop so low....

Let's just divide them all up! I graduated too soon to be able to attend Zion Hill the Baptist Church of Christ School of Learning and Christiandom (no Muslims allowed), but its not too late for my kids if we can get behind efforts like these! I think that I would have enjoyed the class on how not to look other members of the church in the eyes when in the liquor store the most.

I'm not saying they need to be segregated
I was showing that there are is an established school and curriculm, and tolerance for their education
