P.S- Telling a highly recruited QB prospect to shove off will let all the 2009 qb class we are about buissness and are not desperate and want to build a program around them...

it really seems strange. our new HC tells our top recruited QB to move on while rumors are floating around about the best QB recruit in the nation coming here for a visit. then a few days later, the OC who is also the QB coach of the school that the top recruit is going to (not to mention the guy that recruited him), is taking the job at Washington. Hard to believe this is coincidence, but i just don't see kiffin stealing this guy from his old Cali buddies..

Might not be stealing. Washington is terrible and just a QB doesn't help much and USC doesn't need him for next year so if he wants to play right away the that may be why he wants to visit UT.

The guy that runs the USC Rivals page gave Matt Barkley a call this past week to ask him about Kiffin to Tennessee. Matt Barkley said he was still 100% committed to USC and it hadn't changed anything.

Any rumors are false. He is not coming and he is not having a very good senior year as it is.

Be prepared for Brice Petty being the best and/or only QB we get this year-- which is fine. We don't need 5 QB's plus a mega talent that Kiffin will inevitably go after next year.
