Thought it might serve better to place all game convo's in this thread, instead of cluttering up the forum with seperate game threads.

Monday 11/22

Wichita St. vs UConn 3:00pm(est) (ESPN2)

Oklahoma vs UK 5:30pm(est) (ESPN2)

Michigan St vs Chaminade 9:30pm(est) (ESPNU)

Virginia vs Washingon 11:59pm(est) (ESPN2)

I am obviously looking forward to the UK game, but I think I like Wichita St to maybe lay the wood to UConn. Watching Calhoun airball 2 out of 3 free throws in the coaches contest cannot be a good omen.

This is hands down my favorite preseason tournament. Always signals lots of food is close at hand.

I'm guessing the gametimes group the brackets?

Watching it now. I ended up taking Wichita St +3, so far so good. UConn isn't really that good with Walker in, but they are horrible without him. Wichita taking advantage with him on the bench with 2 fouls.

Are you sure? I have not heard "violent cuts" or "shadow defenders" yet.

He did make me laugh talking about the massive amount of UK fans there. He said "they are everywhere. I woke up this morning and there were 2 in my room staring at me."

Funny thing is, I could believe this.

Last year I was on a plane back to oc and Calhoun was on there. I have a generic statement I see when i see any athlete, coach or celebrity in public.

Hi so and so I have been a fan for years, good luck in your upcoming season, career etc.

I never ask for autographs or pics, or disrupt if they are eating or in a conversation.

Calhoun was definitely a prick. Roy firestone was the coolest.

Eh, I have just made some good decisions in life. It is nice though. :thumbsup:

As for the Kentucky part, its understandable. I know full well that I would hate us too, were I not here.

Calhoun is an ass, but so are many others. He did shoot 2 airballs in the coaches free throw contest yesterday, which I find hilarious.

Of course there are a couple thousand UK fans there, but I am surprised at the all the Yellow. Wichita St brought a bunch of fans, much more than UConn.

Wichita up by 7 at the moment and pressing the issue.

Shockers is the greatest mascot in college. Wouldn't be surprised if all the wich st girls whistled from their bottoms as they walked around campus.

4 starting seniors vs the youth and talent (though considerably less than normal) of UConn. The Huskies might still end up winning, but Wichita has given them all they want.
