We have good LBs on the bench. Mayo would have done well here his senior year, but I think Wilson will be a good replacement in the middle.

hopefully you're right about him being replaceable. mayo had that ability to be wherever the ball carrier was and we could really use that next season. i'm not worried about mccoy or really wilson either. i just don't know about that 3rd spot.
Strongside linebackers at Tennessee have averaged probably 5'11"-6'0", 220lbs in the Chavis era. I don't know if he has the coverage skills to play SLB, and he's probably best to stay at DE.
the hate on this board is almost too much to handle. If your friend was going to take a promotion at his job from making essentially nothing, to making essentially MILLIONS of dollars you'd be all aboard.
I'm so happy for Mayo for making this decision. That's the nature of college football. Some players are good and decide to go pro early. I wish him the best of luck and i'm glad for HIM.
