Look 👀 if you’re a WR I would think you would want to go where WR flourish! You know like a school that just produced the Biletnikoff award winner! Intelligence is a factor in being good. So no worries find someone that’s smart enough to figure it out!

I think this has everything to do with getting whipped by his home state school. I have been consistent in saying how damaging that loss was in so many ways.

This is very disappointing.
Meh.

South Carolina doesn't have Nico coming in.
Or Cam Seldon, or Nathan Leacock.
Not Echols or Beasley for 2024 either.

It kept us out of the playoffs and ended our QB season. Beyond that, is just people being dramatic...

The kid who is a WR literally decommitted the day a UT WR won the Biletnikoff award lol. The highest award a kid can receive for his position....

That's stupid on so many levels...

He stated it's bc of the coaching changes. Meaning our OC left

Bro if he thinks going to South Carolina is the right choice let him go. Their offense only had a pulse in 2 games all season. If he ends up there I hope we destroy them every time we play so he knows he made the wrong choice. I mean good lord South Carolina is never going to be good what’s he thinking??

He is a year away from being able to sign. A lot of water will go over the dan before next December. If our offense next year is anywhere near as good as it was this year, he might want to come to Tennessee. Stranger things have happened. If not, we will find one just as good or better.

I 100% agree! It's a major red flag for him to decommitt. How can you walk away from a program that put up the offensive numbers it did and offered you a scholarship? You at least maintain your commitment until the next season in the very least. I wouldn't let this kid back in if he wanted. Give the spot to someone else.

Agree. It was a bad loss and hate to lose this kid, but I wonder if part of it is the chatter about experienced receivers going in the portal and possibly a couple of them ending up at Tennessee. SCar probably won’t have that problem so he may be taking the path of least resistance to early playing time. Idk, just spitballing.

Yea I’m not worrying about that position either. If huep can turn hyatt and Tillman into all sec Wrs he can do it again with better talent.

I think that’s his easy answer. I think the real answer is he didn’t want to compete with all the talent at that position, because if he knows anything at all, he knows this is Heupel’s offense and ultimately Heupel runs it.

I believe we already have...
That's the only thing that makes sense of this.
Even if you intend to decommit you don't do it on the night that the school who you're committed to has a player that is about to win or possibly win the top award for YOUR POSITION in college football.

Not to mention Jalin Hyatt is from his state....

No. The door needs to be closed on this kid.

This screams "diva ".
And not a smart one. This reeks of Antonio Brown level idiocy.
