nobody got the conservative that Bush was touted to be, but at least we avoided a pandering socialist. I'm disappointed in this admin., but I don't believe we would ever be better off with a socialist admin. At least we can all say that our tax bills were lower.I've never understood this reasoning. Unfortunantly, we all lost.
I voted for Bush twice as well and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I'm not all that happy with some of the things he's done, but I think he's infinitely better than either Gore or Kerry.
btw, I voted for ol' Slick Willy back in 1992, but I was 24 back then and not very smart or mature.
:salute:YOu shouldn't be ashamed. But to say he is better than Gore or Kerry is a totally uninformed statement. No one will ever know how he compares to either;however, it is likely, based on the documented incompetence within the current administration, neither Gore or Kerry would have been any worse as POTUS. I am not ashamed to say I voted for Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004. I am a moderate Dem too.
it's in no way an uninformed statement. It's a hypothetical and unproveable, making it an opinion, but uninformed it's not.YOu shouldn't be ashamed.
