This is the most synical, nonsense I have ever seen...
I'm not trying to say you can get a proper evaluation out of the RTL, but you can see growth and you can see heart. You can see the competitive spirit, and when you see someone like Goins with a 360 YAM or out-quicking CJ Watson or JP Prim to the lane, it does show potential. Is it the same as watching a late Feb SEC game? Heck no, but it is not often that someone like Tyler Summitt gets matched up with Renaldo Woolridge. Summitt is the one matching up against LMU players.
Players tend to get in battles, and you can see what they can do with the ball in their hands in a one on one situation against solid competition. Its not the same as going against a good team defense, but it IS something to build on and something to be excited for.
This team will be a contender and will battle hard and will play their best down the stretch
Go Vols!!!
Good lord, some of you will take anything out of context. What you can't see in that picture is Michael Blue on the helpside defense... lol
So I cannot form any opinions based off of watching entire games and seeing that some players (Mcrae) have that winning desire that will let raw emotions come out even in a RTL type atmosphere, but you can disprove it all with a snapshot? Nice...
Of course opinions can be formed. The point is, what you take away from watching the RTL, you could take away from watching a 3 on 3 pick-up game at the practice facility.
I don't dispute that at all, but in my mind, NOTHING means NOTHING... You can take "something" just take it with a grain of salt and understand that it doesn't mean it will translate to the SEC. You "can" learn something, but generally only if you don't know much heading into it which I clearly stated previously. Some on here like to take things out of context and use these mental gymnastics...
